Condensing Gas & Oil Boilers

Condensing boilers can be up to 30% more efficient than convention boilers, they have been designed to get the highest amount of energy out of the fuel, as a consequence the flue temperatures are lower and can cause pluming which has to be considered when installing the flue pipe.

As from next year new building regulations come into force and all boilers will have to meet the Band "A" category, this means that all new boilers that meet the new specifications will almost certainly be of the condensing type.
