Simplicity costs less

Solar air collector systems are simpler and less expensive than solar water heating systems because air does not freeze or boil under any normal conditions on our planet. Solar air systems don't need the extraordinary chemical and control strategies associated with many liquid solar systems in climates where high temperatures may occur or where water may freeze.

No pipes, no plumbing

You don't have to lay pipes to control or channel the flow of warmed air, it just naturally mixes with the other ambient air and gradually pushes its way around a building helped by positive pressure from the SolarVenti impeller. So whether the SolarVenti is just keeping the building fresh or is supplementing its heating energy requirements or doing both all you have to do is install it and the suns energy can flow around your house without laying pipes or using mains power.

Controls

Solar air systems are easily controlled by a simple system that allows you to either slow down the air flow so that it can heat up to a higher temperature or you can set it to a temperature below which you do not want it to operate.

Who buys SolarVenti?

Most people learn about SolarVenti via the internet and web search engines whilst looking for solutions to damp problems or alternative energy systems. Of course SolarVenti attends trade shows such as Grand Designs and county shows but most contacts are made via web search which preselects customers that are internet savvy. One day SolarVenti will reach a wider audience.

Changing Demand

The banner at the top of the page shows how SolarVenti has been marketed primarily to solve airborne damp and other poor ventilation related problems but with the new performance data on the SolarVenti SV30 and its significant free energy input the future will be different.
